Farmers’ Market opens for season with highest turnout in Medicine Hat run
The Medicine Hat Farmers’ Market season opened May 17 to an overwhelming turnout and continues Saturday at the Stampede’s Cypress Centre.
The market is open to both shoppers and vendors, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m every week.
Farmers’ Market coordinator Doreen Gunderson said the first market of the year was the best turnout vendor and customer-wise the Stampede has seen yet.
“People that shop online will shop online. People that go to Calgary will shop in Calgary. But people that come to the market will come to the market,” she said Saturday.
