Medicine Hat Tigers sign 2009-born forward Owen Hayes

‘The Medicine Hat Tigers have signed their first round pick from the 2024 WHL U.S. Prospects Draft to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

Owen Hayes from Littleton, CO is a 2009 born forward who the Tigers drafted 16th overall in the 2024 U.S. Priority Draft.

He appeared in 49 games this season with the Okanagen Hockey Academy Colorado U15 AAA team, putting up 76 points with 21 goals and 55 assists.

Tigers director of player personnel Bobby Fox said Hayes has a well rounded game.

“Owen is an offensive forward known for his exceptional two-way effort and habits,” Fox said.
