Medicine Hat’s Miller on NHL Central Scouting Bureau’s final rankings

The NHL Central Scouting Bureau released its final rankings on Tuesday with a Medicine Hat player on the list.

Ryan Miller of Medicine Hat was ranked 60 for North American Skaters.

The 2007-born forward of the Western Hockey League‘s Portland Winterhawks played the majority of his minor hockey in Medicine Hat, with the exception of the 2021-22 season where he played for the Northern Alberta Xtreme U15 Prep team based out of Devon, Alta.

He is also an alumni of the South East Athletic Club U15 AAA Tigers and the South Alberta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team.

Miller in his second full season with the Portland Winterhawks, and had put up 31 points in 50 games during the regular season.

In the playoffs, he has 8 points through 9 games for the Winterhawks.

Miller is still competing in the second round of the Western Hockey League playoffs with the Winterhawks against the Everett Silvertips.

Miller is committed to play with the University of Denver Pioneers for the 2026-27 NCAA Division I season.
