Something for Everyone Market in Medicine Hat opens vendor registration

Feb 16, 2025 | 2:47 PM

Registration is open as of Feb. 15 for vendors in and outside of Medicine Hat to be a part of the Something for Everyone Market this summer.

The market will take part during Redcliff Days from June 13 to 15.

However, it is encouraged for vendors to sign up in advance as the event has already reached a quarter capacity.

The SFEM is focused on supporting small businesses, crafters, and artists.

It presents the opportunity for vendors to set up their own tent amongst others along Broadway Avenue in Redcliff.

Monica Callis, coordinator of SFEM, said that vendors from B.C. as well as Saskatchewan also attend the event.

“There is quite a few vendors that will travel great lengths to come to these events because they’re feasible. They’re not hundreds of dollars,” she said.

Callis said she recommends registering at this time to guarantee a space at the market, as there are a maximum of 50 spots for vendors.

She started putting on SFEM 14 years ago, because she felt Medicine Hat didn’t have smaller markets apart from the trade shows.

The market’s intention is to welcome crafters, artists, and home businesses to collaborate all in one space.

Callis said that when the events happen, everybody comes out, and everyone’s happy.

“Plenty of times, there’s neighbours running into each other on the street, so it’s good to touch base,” she said.

“It adds that small town kind of feel to everything, all the aspects of it, visiting, hanging out, and just seeing everybody again.”

Vendor registration will remain open until June 6, or until all spaces have been filled.
