Two Brooks Bandits players added to 2025 BCHL Top Prospects Game

The Brooks Bandits will now have four representatives at the 2025 BCHL Top Prospects Game in Salmon Arm, B.C., this weekend.

Bandits defensemen Nate Yellowaga and Keith McInnis will join Nathan Free and head coach Ryan Papaioannou at the event.

The 16-year-old Yellowaga, an alumni of the South Alberta Hockey Academy, is in his first full junior season after he suited up for 11 regular season and seven playoff games last year.

Through 30 games games this season, the Calgary native has seven assists.

The 19-year-old McInnis, from Red Deer is in his second season with the Bandits, sits sixth in points with the team, scoring six times and adding 12 assists over 29 games this year.

Nathan Free, Keith McInnis and coach Ryan Papaioannou will all represent Team Interior while Nate Yellowaga will play for Team Coastal.

The Top Prospects game will take place Friday.

Forward Parker Lalonde will represent the Bandits in the BCHL All Star Game on Saturday, Jan. 18, and will take part in the accuracy shooting challenge.
