Former Medicine Hat city councillor Les Pearson dies at 78

A former Medicine Hat councillor has passed away.
Les Pearson, who served two terms on council 2010-2017 died Dec. 26 at the age of 78.
Pearson, an educator, was the first principal of Dunmore’s Eagle Butte High School.
He also helped in the transitioning of St. Joseph’s Home in Medicine Hat into a Hospice.
An obituary posted by Pattison Funeral Homes says that funeral arrangements will be announced once completed.
