‘Empower our young people’: Employer applications open for Canada Summer Jobs program

Employer applications for the 2025 edition of the federal summer jobs program are open until Dec. 19.

The Canada Summer Jobs program allows young people to learn new skills, earn income and build confidence, its advocates say.

Employers from not-for-profit organizations, the public sector and private sector organizations with 50 or fewer full-time employees can apply for funding to hire students next summer.

The federal government supplies successful organizations with wage subsidies to create quality summer work experiences for youth aged 15 to 30 years.
