RCMP investigate mischief at Bindloss bridge

The bridge that crosses the Red Deer River, north east of Bindloss, Alta., has been closed since Sept. 29 due to structural issues caused by mischief.

Oyen RCMP is asking for help from the public to locate those responsible for damaging the bridge.

The mischief occurred sometime between Saturday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 29 at 6 a.m.

It is believed that a vehicle or vehicles were doing burnouts on the bridge which later caught fire, causing structural damages.

Anyone with information regarding the acts of mischief are asked to contact Oyen RCMP at 403-664-3505.
