Purple Whoppers arrive at Burger King for a limited time

Purple cheeseburgers have arrived at Burger King.

It’s part of the fast-food chain’s spooky-themed promotional deal that features four separate items that each represent a member of the Addams Family.

While customers may first think The Addams Family Menu is related to Netflix’s popular Wednesday show with Jenna Ortega, it’s instead tied to the 2019 animated film.

Wednesday’s Whopper is similar to its standard variation but with buns coloured by purple potatoes that are sprinkled with black sesame seeds, according to a news release from Burger King.

Thing’s Rings are crispy onion rings served in a package with artwork of Wednesday Addams’ severed-hand companion.

Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake, named for Wednesday’s mother, is made up of soft serve ice cream and chocolate cake batter fudge and accented with black and purple cookie pieces.

Gomez’s Churro Fries are fried churros coated in cinnamon sugar and served with a chocolate dipping sauce. The churros are named for the patriarch of the Addams Family, who hails from Spain.

Medicine Hat’s only Burger King is located in the south end of the city. There’s also a location in Redcliff.
