Medicine Hat motorcycle rider finds success at world’s fastest track
Medicine Hat’s Gerald Beatch didn’t quite hit 200 miles per hour on his motorcycle at the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials at Bonneville Speedway in Utah, but still looks at his time there as a success.
“I started out with a 165 mph pass, spinning the tire at that speed, as there was very little traction,” Beatch said.
“I reconfigured my bike and each day I went a little faster, with 184.277 mph being my best.”
