“I started out with a 165 mph pass, spinning the tire at that speed, as there was very little traction,” Beatch said.

“I reconfigured my bike and each day I went a little faster, with 184.277 mph being my best.”

Beatch was also nominated for racer of the year.

“Quite a huge honor to be nominated for that! The Bonneville staff said I left quite an impression on them.” Beatch said.

“It is very tricky to go fast there, it was very challenging,” he added

“I am really looking forward to getting back there again and increasing my top speed!”
