Heat warning issued for Medicine Hat, most of Alberta

A heat warning has been issued for the City of Medicine Hat and most of Alberta.

A prolonged heat event is expected, Environment Canada said in its warning posted Monday afternoon.
For the next eight to 10 days, daytime temperature highs will be between 28 C and 35 C and overnight lows will range from 12 C to 20 C.
This heat warning is likely to be expanded to include additional regions of Alberta.
