County of Newell hosting HALO fundraiser on Aug. 1

The County of Newell is hosting a HALO Air Ambulance fundraiser and first responders appreciation event in August.

The evening event will feature first responder demos, emergency vehicles on display, activities for all ages, a barbecue dinner and an opportunity to learn more about HALO.

It runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 1 at the Brooks Centennial Regional Arena.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to HALO.
