Medicine Hat MP hosting community barbecue July 21

Jul 10, 2024 | 10:03 AM

A Medicine Hat member of parliament is hosting a community barbecue.

Medicine Hat—Cardston-Warner MP Glen Motz says it will be a good way to meet constituents.

“Summer gives us a great opportunity to be outside and connect with our communities,” Motz said.

“I look forward to seeing you there.”

The barbecue runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 21 at the Kin Coulee Park band shelter.

Registration is not required for the free event, according to a news release.

With parliament on pause, summers are typically a time when MPs are visiting and holding events in their ridings.

This summer could be the last before a federal campaign if an election is triggered in the fall.
