Cold records set in southern Alberta Monday

Several communities in southern Alberta had their coldest June 17 on record this week.

Environment Canada says daily minimum temperatures were set in seven communities on Monday, while one other tied its existing record.

Waterton got the coldest with a low of -4.8 C.

Cardston toppled its cold record that had been standing for the last 75 years at -0.1 C.
