‘A complete surprise’: Okotoks woman wins $100K

An Okotoks woman has won $100,000 in the lottery.

Joyce O’Neill purchased her winning Lotto Max and Extra ticket from High River Co-op and won by matching the last six numbers selected in the April 12 draw.

O’Neill said she buys Super Packs weekly and has always hoped to win, but the reality is much more exciting than she thought.

“It was a complete surprise,” she said in a news release Monday.
