Medicine Hat Mavericks head to Moose Jaw in season opener

The Medicine Hat Mavericks are headed to Moose Jaw to take on the Miller Express in back-to-back games to start the 2024 campaign.

Returning to coach the Mavericks is reigning WCBL Coach of the Year Kevin Mitchell, who filled the role after previous coach Mark Goodman left the club to join the Colorado Rocky Mountain Vibes of the Pioneer League.

The Mavericks finished last season with a 30-26 record, which placed them second in the East Division.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at Ross Wells Park.
