Medicine Hat Tigers regular season awards handed out Saturday

The Medicine Hat Tigers handed out 10 team awards for the 2023-2024 regular season just before the team’s final regular season game on Saturday.

Four of the awards had co-winners, with rookie Gavin McKenna as the only multi-award winner.

  • MVP: Oasiz Wiesblatt and Gavin McKenna
  • Scholastic Player of the Year: Ethan McCallum
  • Rookie of the Year: Gavin McKenna
  • Most Improved Player: Andrew Basha and Tomas Mrsic
  • Gerard Moyer Leadership Award: Tyler MacKenzie
  • Supplement King Hardest Working Player: Nate Corbet and Zach Zahara
  • Community Service: Shane Smith
  • Best Defencemen: Dru Krebs and Bogdans Hodass
  • Unsung Here: Rhett Parsons
  • Top Defensive Forward: Hunter St. Martin
