Brian Mulroney’s state funeral: A closer look at the former prime minister’s legacy
OTTAWA — Former prime minister Brian Mulroney died on Feb. 29, in Palm Beach, Fla., at the age of 84. He was first elected in 1984 following the largest majority mandate in Canada’s history, and was re-elected in 1988.
His state funeral is to be held in Montreal on Saturday.
