Medicine Hat MP seeking feedback ahead of 2024 federal budget

Feb 22, 2024 | 2:06 PM

Medicine Hat MP Glen Motz is asking for constituents to give their feedback on the federal government’s tax, debt and inflation policies.

Motz has launched one survey for municipal leaders to better understand what communities need, and another for individual constituents to provide input with questions included at the end for business owners about the unique challenges they face.

“Ottawa needs to hear from you,” Motz, who represents the Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner riding, said in a statement Thursday.

“Decisions made by the NDP-Liberal coalitioncontinue to punish hard working families, farmers, energy workers and small businesses. These surveys will allow me to bring your voice to Ottawa, but I need your input to do it.”

The short surveys are intended to get a clear picture of how people in the riding are impacted by taxes, debt, and inflation as well as what is needed for families, small businesses and municipalities to move forward in restoring jobs and the economy, according to a news release.

Constituents are encouraged to take the survey via SurveyMonkey.com. The deadline to submit survey responses is March 15.
