Servus Free Skate returns on Sunday features ‘Frozen’ characters Elsa and Olaf

The Servus Free Skate returns to Co-op Place this Sunday.

The event will include free skating, hot chocolate, art activities, face painting, glitter tattoos, and games.

The front doors of the arena open to the public at noon with the event running until 4 p.m.

Candace Lundrigan, cultural programs coordinator with the City of Medicine Hat, said this year’s event is special as they have added a theme and more activities.

“We are featuring our friends from Frozen,” Lundrigan said.

“We will have Elsa and Olaf. Elsa will skate with the kids. When she isn’t on the ice, you can get your photograph taken with her and get some autographs,” she added.

“We are also going to play the Frozen sing along on the scoreboard. So, whether you are on the ice or off, there are some things to do.”

Swirls and the Mini Donuts booth will open up for the event.

Servus has sponsored the event since 2015.
