The Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede have announced who will be performing during the night shows at this years event.

The lineup will have a blend of rock and country music this year.

Mike Doll is with the night show committee and is also the program director at Pattison Media.

Doll said they are super excited and have a fantastic lineup that starts with rock icon Brett Michaels on Wednesday night.

“Of course people know him from Poison,” Doll said.

“Looking forward to hearing all those big songs.”

“One of Canada’s best The Washboard Union is going to be here on the Thursday night. Traditional sounding country and a list of hits an arm length long.”

“James Barker Band who is at the top of the mountain in Canadian country right now. One of the best, they are going to be here Saturday night.”

Ticket packages go on sale for the nights shows this Friday at 10am. Tickets for the three shows together are $199 all in.

The midway and a number of other familiar events return again this year, including the summer pro rodeo.

Ron Edwards, general manger with the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede said Kesler Championship Rodeo will be bringing in the best stock available.

“One of his bulls was the bull of the year at the Canadian finals rodeo,” Edwards said.

“We have three day rodeo here it’s called a dual prove rodeo and we have the best of the summer American cowboys coming through some of the national finalists will be here.”

“Yeah great stock, great cowboys. It’s a great show.”

The Broncs and Honky Tonks Indoor Spring Rodeo in April and the WPCA Chuckwagons in June were also announced.
