City crews to start putting up 354 festive lights for holiday season

MEDICINE HAT, AB – City crews on Tuesday will start putting up “festive lighting” across Medicine Hat.

The City of Medicine Hat installs 354 festive lights to celebrate the holiday season.

The city released an order in which the lights are put up, weather dependant. The schedule is:

• Downtown
• 1 Street SE
• Maple Avenue Bridge
• 8 Street NE
• Division Avenue N near 20 Street NE
• Kingsway Avenue SE and South Railway Street SE
• Trans Canada Way SE
• Carry Drive SE
• Dunmore Road SE
• 13 Avenue SE

The city also reminded the public to obey all traffic signs and posted speed limits in the area.
