Early lead evaporates as Tigers fall to Winterhawks.

MEDICINE HAT — The Medicine Hat Tigers took a 1 goal lead into the third period, only to watch as Portland scored 4 unanswered goals in skating to a 6-3 win at Coop Place.
At one point, the Tigers held a 3-1 lead early in the second period on goals by Tyler MacKenzie, Hunter St. Martin and Kadon McCann.
The Tigers remain in first place in the Central Division, after Lethbridge lost 5-1 at home to Everett.
The Hurricanes make their first visit to Medicine Hat tomorrow, followed by Everett on Saturday night.
