Tigers clock two wins, Corbet scores first WHL goal last weekend

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers are in the midst of a five-game homestand, clocking two wins last weekend.
In game one on friday, the Tigers took a 7-4 win against the Edmonton Oil Kings. In game two on Saturday, they beat Seattle 6-3.
However, in that second game there was a special moment for one Tigers rookie. Defenseman Nate Corbet scored his first ever WHL goal.
“The guys were so happy for me, and it’s pretty cool to see that group of guys be so happy for someone,” says Corbet. “Like, I just got an unwavering amount of support from all the guys and it was so special, I just can’t even put it into words.”
