Medicine Hat Tigers 1-1 on British Columbia stint
BRITISH COLUMBIA – The Medicine Hat Tigers are two games into their five game stint in British Columbia.
In game one, the Tigers saw the Kelowna Rockets at Prospera Place. The Tigers scooped a 9-2 win, with British Columbia native Evan May (Nanaimo, BC) in the goal crease. Tigers Shane Smith (Cessford, AB) would pickup a hat-trick and Kadon McCann (Cochrane, AB) would score his first ever Western Hockey League goal in a power play in the third period.
In game two the Tigers returned to Victoria for the first time since 2019. Medicine Hat would fall to the Victoria Royals 4-1. Brayden Boehm (Nanaimo, BC) would score the lonely goal for the Tigers early in the first period.
The next puck drop for the Tigers will be a ferry ride away in Langely, BC against the Vancouver Giants, tonight at 8pm MST.
