Fatal crash claims lives of two people from Leader, Saskatchewan

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB. — Two people died in a crash on Highway 41 north at approximately 7:25 pm Sunday October 15.

Redcliff RCMP say an SUV swerved to avoid a moose, but then hit a cattle hauler head on.

The SUV caught fire and both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.

Mounties say the victims were a 38 year old male and a 14 year old female from Leader, Saskatchewan
