Bull riders at CO-OP place Saturday for PBR Cup Series
MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Stampede finished many months ago, meaning Hatters may be itching for a fix of bull-riding entertainment by now. To scratch that itch, the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Medicine Hat Classic is back this Saturday at CO-OP Place.
“All the inside cup events are loud and pyro and all that. But Medicine Hat, the crowd’s really loud and it’s always a good one,” says Chad Hartman, PBR Canada bull rider.
Hartman is from Lancer Saskatchewan, and is competing in Medicine Hat for his third year. This 23 year old is currently 7th on the PBR Canada Standings. His goal this year is to win $100,000 and grab the Canadian Championship title by the end of the season in November. This means the Medicine Hat Classic will be crucial for Hartman to earn some last minute points and climb the PBR standings.
