Medicine Hat Tigers host street hockey event tonight for fans

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Tonight, the Medicine Hat Tigers will be capitalizing on the sunshine and warm weather, as they trade in their hockey skates for running shoes.

The team will be hosting a Sun City Ford Street Hockey event. It provides an opportunity for fans to meet the Tigers, get autographs and play street hockey with the team. There will be free hot chocolate as well.

Tigers captain Tyler MacKenzie will be there and says his team is excited to give back to Tigers fans and spend time with the community that supports them.

“They’ve supported us through through a really tough time. Being able to see that they stick by our side and being able to give back to them, there’s nothing better than that,” says MacKenzie about Tigers fans.

The event takes place from 6pm to 8pm tonight at the Sun City Ford and Fix Auto parking lot. Those attending should bring their own hockey sticks.
