Fire restriction for Cypress County

MEDICINE HAT, AB–Cypress County is now under a fire restriction.

Permitted burning in the county is not allowed due to dry/hot conditions.

The following are allowed:

• Recreational campfires
• Solid fuel barbecues (charcoal)
• Internal household fireplaces
• Propane or natural gas-fueled appliances
• Wood pellet smokers
• Incinerators
• Burning barrels
• Chimeneas
