From ice to airwaves: Brooks Bandits unveil new podcast series

BROOKS, AB – They’ve conquered the ice, clinching three consecutive national championships, and now they’re ready to conquer the airwaves with a brand-new podcast.
Bandits Weekly presented by Smash Supplements will be hosted by Nathan Crosby, business manager and play-by-play announcer for the Brooks Bandits. Crosby has always had a passion for hockey and broadcasting and is combining those talents to bring fans insider content.
These weekly podcasts will recap past games and preview future games, but the main purpose is to showcase Bandits talent and give players more on-air experience and media training. Crosby also hopes to have Bandits alumnus on the podcast to share their past experiences. The first episode of the podcast was released last week.
“I think it’s a great way to just continue to build our brand, connect with our fans and fans of the AJHL,” said Crosby. “I think there’s a lot of interest in our team from the outside and just another way to showcase our team out there. It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, I’m very passionate about these sorts of things.”
