44 Rattlers earn National Scholar Award
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Forty-four Medicine Hat College Rattlers excelled on and off the field in the 2022-23 academic year and have been awarded Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association National Scholar Award.
“Medicine Hat College Rattlers Athletics is very proud of our 44 student-athletes who have achieved academic success in receiving the 2022-23 CCAA National Scholar Award,” says Terry Ballard, manager of athletics & recreation. They work extremely hard at their sport and in the community with volunteer activities, and then work even harder to achieve Dean’s List status academically. Thanks very much to the CCAA for recognizing our Rattlers student-athletes’ efforts.”

This season is underway for the cross-country running, golf and soccer teams. The women’s hockey team has its home opener coming up on Oct. 7 and the basketball teams have their home openers on Oct. 14. The Rattlers volleyball teams host their home openers on Nov. 3.
