MEDICINE HAT, AB – Kids are back in class and that means parents and teens are back to making school lunches.
Registered dietitian Jennifer Paterson of Sedona North Healing Arts says the first key to getting a balanced school lunch is to make it the night before to avoid the chaos of the morning.
Paterson joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about making even your young kids a part of packing lunches, jazzing up a sandwich, bento boxes and treat days. She brought photos to make your mouth water, as per usual.
