Downtown roads to close for Ribfest

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Roads will be closed so ribs can be eaten this weekend in Medicine Hat.

Downtown is the site of Medicine Hat Ribfest 2023 Aug. 25-27.

The city says to safely facilitate the event First Street SE from Fourth Avenue SE to Sixth Avenue SE and Finlay Bridge from Sixth Avenue SE to Second Avenue NE will be closed from 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 until 8 p.m. on Aug. 27.

Motorists are reminded to obey all posted signs and to take extra caution while driving downtown due to an increase in pedestrian traffic.
