New residential parking permits for hospital area out next month
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Residents near the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital will be able to pick up new parking permits on Sept. 15. The current residential parking permits for the area expire on Sept. 30.
Unrestricted parking permits are available to residents who live within time-restricted parking zones near the hospital, says the City of Medicine Hat in a news release.
You can apply for a new permit online at medicinehat.ca/residentialparking or in-person at the Municipal Works office at 188 Kipling St. SE. The office is open Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:35 p.m. The office is closed daily at lunch from 12-1 p.m.
You must submit proof of a valid driver’s license and current vehicle registration for each vehicle that requires a permit. Permits are only issued for vehicles that are registered to eligible addresses within the hospital area, says the city. Each residence can get one visitor permit.
