Suspicious fire being investigated by MHPS

MEDICINE HAT, AB— The Criminal Investigation Section of the Medicine Hat Police Service has been put in charge of investigating a fire that happened early Monday morning.

A business in a strip mall in the 500 block of Rutherford Street NW suffered extensive damage and the origin of the fire is considered to be suspicious.

City police are asking anyone with information to contact them or submit their tip via their website or mobile app.
