MacKenzie Porter nabs three CCMA nominations

Another year and another bunch of Canadian Country Music Association Award nominations for MacKenzie Porter.

The Medicine Hat singer is up for three awards this year, including female artist of the year for the fourth straight time.

She is also nominated for musical collaboration of the year and video of the year for the song One Too with Dallas Smith.

In May, Porter released Chasing Tornadoes, the lead single from her upcoming full-length album.

The award winners will be announced on Sept. 16 at the CCMA Awards ceremony.

Josh Ross leads the way with six nominations and is one of many performers announced for the show. Sam Hunt, The Reklaws, Dean Brody, Carly Pearce and American rockers Train are among the other performers scheduled.
