The Heritage Gather is back for another year

DUNMORE, AB – A weekend rich with history and celebration is on the horizon at the Dunmore Equestrian Centre with The Heritage Gather 2023 taking place.

The inclusive three-day event will run from July 14-16, showcasing a mixture of Indigenous culture with western heritage through various events. Spectators can witness many performances, such as an open rodeo, ranch rodeo and performances from three-time world champion hoop dancer Dallas Arcand. The event will also have Indigenous craft workshops and artisan sales.

“This is the second year for our annual event, and it was developed to showcase indigenous culture and western heritage. We have a rich history in western Canada and we wanted to bring that to people who have never experienced it,” says Cathy Schnell, director at Dunmore Equestrian.

There are many takeaways that people can make from a culture-filled event like The Heritage Gather.
