MEDICINE HAT, AB – Matthew Jubelius has always looked for opportunities to serve the public and people. A nurse for about 15 years, he’s familiar with the issues in the health-care system.

One of the biggest issues he saw was the challenge some have accessing care, something that was exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic. That led to him founding Virtunurse, the first nurse-led and operated online walk-in and family clinic.

Jubelius joined Lisa Parent on CHAT News at Noon to discuss virtunurse.ca, how it’s shaping the health care of the future, how it works, some of the services offered and the early feedback he’s received.
