Dino-mite: Saskatchewan town smashes prehistoric world record

A Saskatchewan community is celebrating a new world record for most people wearing inflatable dinosaur costumes in one area – although it isn’t official yet.

Dundurn aimed to break Portland, Oregon’s current world record of 380 inflatable dinosaurs, and on Canada Day, easily surpassed it with over 1,163.

People travelled from as far as Arizona, Vancouver Island, Edmonton and Winnipeg as well as the locals and nearby towns for the attempt.

The info will be submitted to the Guinness World Records for confirmation.
