Environment minister says Clean Fuel Regulations will hurt provincial economy

The Alberta government is calling on Ottawa to immediately stop the implementation of the federal Clean Fuel Regulations set to go into effect this weekend.
Environment Minister Rebecca Schulz says she sent a letter to the federal government today, saying the regulations will be harmful to the Alberta economy.
Schulz says now is not the time to drive up prices at the pump and increase expenses for vulnerable households, businesses and industries.
She’s joining Saskatchewan and the Atlantic provinces in calling for a stop to the regulations.
