Tigers host Hitmen in 2023-24 home opener

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Tigers have announced their opponent and the date of their home opener.

The Tabbies will welcome the Calgary Hitmen on Sept. 23, the team said today. Puck drop will be at 7 p.m., but fans are encouraged to be their early for player introductions before the puck is dropped.

The full regular season schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Tigers also revealed their pre-season schedule on Monday. Two games against each of the Lethbridge Hurricanes and the Swift Current Broncos will get the Tigers ready for the regular season.

On Sept. 5 the Tigers travel to Lethbridge to play the Hurricanes and will host the ‘Canes on Sept. 9.

A pair of games against the Broncos will end the pre-season schedule. The Broncos come to Medicine Hat on Sept. 15 and the Tigers travel east the following day.
