Alberta Health Services says it is now offering interpretation services in 23 Indigenous languages.
The organization that delivers health care in the province says translation services are available in languages including Blackfoot, Cree, Dene and Mohawk.
They say they are committed to providing culturally safe, accessible health care to all patients.
The Indigenous languages are in addition to more than 240 offered through the Health Link phone line, hospitals and other sites.
