Doggie Doo Rendezvous to clean up Westvue Dog Park

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Organizers who want to spruce up a popular off-leash dog park in Medicine Hat are looking for volunteers.

The Doggie Doo Rendezvous takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Westvue Dog Park. Disposable gloves and bags will be available free for the cleanup.

The event, which is weather-permitting, will also be a fundraiser to raise money for animal enrichment and veterinary fees at the Medicine Hat SPCA.

A bottle depot truck will be on-site and donations of opened and unopened dog food will be accepted. There will also be a barbecue, silent auction and SPCA merchandise will be for sale.
