Crews try to balance cleanliness and convenience in city dog parks

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat is seeking co-operation and understanding of residents during current clean-up operations in its dog parks.

In a release the city says its contractors try to minimize park closures during clean-ups and try to balance the cleanliness of the parks with convenience of park visitors.

The city says workers may occasionally employ vehicles to transport garbage cans and remove garbage bags that can weigh up to 80 lbs. to contribute to the maintenance of high hygiene standards in the parks. The city urges everyone to use caution when around these vehicles and give them the space needed to work safely.
