Sudden death not criminal in nature

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Medicine Hat police say the investigation into a sudden death on Wednesday is ongoing.

Police were called to the 2100 block of 24th Street SE after a body was discovered.

Police say there is no indication that this is a criminal matter and there is no risk to the safety of the public.

No further information about the investigation or the identity of the person will be released.

Police extend condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
