Tourism Medicine Hat invites Hatters to share ‘Camp at Home’ experience May long weekend

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Tourism Medicine Hat is encouraging Hatter’s to participate in “Camp at Home,” and explore the natural beauty Medicine Hat and area has to offer.

The social media campaign is asking campers to post their May long weekend experience on Facebook or Instagram, and tag @tourismmedicinehat for the chance to win a prize pack.

Campers could be at any southern Alberta campground to qualify for prizes.

Although many of these campgrounds are near full capacity, Jace Anderson at Tourism Medicine Hat says last minute campers can even set up a fort in their living room or backyard to participate.

“I know my youngest looks forward to a blanket fort in our house like this every year,” Anderson says in a text message.
