Retired Deputy Fire Chief passes away

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Fire Department is mourning the loss of a retired deputy chief.

The department shared this statement on social media:

“It is with heavy hearts we share the passing and say goodbye to retired Deputy Chief Brian Webster.

Brian spent 24 years with Medicine Hat Fire & Emergency Services.

Brian started his career as a Firefighter, then moved into our Fire Prevention Branch as a Fire Prevention Officer. From Prevention to Training, Brian was then promoted to the Chief Training Officer and retired as a Deputy Chief.
