Bandits up 2-0 in South Division Final

BROOKS, AB – The Brooks Bandits went two for two over Easter weekend and lead the Alberta Junior Hockey League South Division Final 2-0 over the Blackfalds Bulldogs.
In Game 1 on Friday Caelan Fitzpatrick led the charge, scoring twice in the 5-2 victory. Mikhail Simchuk, Hudson Malinoski and Hughie Hooker also scored for Brooks.
The next night Aiden Fink, Dominick Campione and Ethan Beyer staked the Bandits to a 3-0 lead in the first period. Blackfalds cut the lead to 3-2 before the Bandits’ Heath Armstrong scored in the third to end the scoring at 4-2.
Ethan Barwick has made 45 saves through two games.
