Brooks woman hits LOTTO MAX win worth $100,000

BROOKS, AB – A Brooks woman is celebrating after winning $100,000 in the Lotto Max draw.
Cheryll Cruz bought her winning ticket from the Red Basket Food Store in Brooks on March 4.
Cruz won by matching the last six digits of the winning Extra number she added to her Lotto Max ticket.
At first, Cruz said she thought she only won $100 and was informed by the cashier that her winnings were much larger.
